This blog will comment on expression, purification, assaying and all the lovely things we like to do with our beloved toys. Don’t you think DNA is so overrated? If DNA is spaghetti, protein is the kitchen. If DNA is a book, protein is the swiss army knife. If DNA is the intellectual, protein is the plumber. Are you getting my drift?

OK, so this will be about the everyday challenges we’re facing in the lab, the joy of getting another piece of the puzzle together and the amazing things proteins can do.
